I’m Lori Losen
Lori A. Losen, LPC, Registered Play Therapist Supervisor is both the owner of Compass Professional Counselors, LLC and a licensed professional counselor in the state of PA. She specializes in working with children, adolescents and families. She has a special interest in working with families with children with chronic illness and adoption/foster families. Lori received her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and proceeded to work as a kindergarten teacher in Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras. Upon returning to the United States and while raising her three children Lori returned to school to obtain her Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Scranton. She began her counseling career working in a community nonprofit with children and adolescents who had experienced trauma. Lori is also the Luzerne County Head Start Mental Health Consultant. Lori has received training in various play therapy techniques including Filial Therapy, Child Centered Play Therapy and Theraplay®. She is a certified Theraplay® practitioner. She has also received training in Bowen Family Systems Theory. She recently completed Bruce Perry’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Level 1 which helps to assess psychological and behavioral symptoms through a neurological lens.
Lori believes in a thorough assessment process in order to help with treatment and goal setting. She looks at families as a system, understanding if one person in the unit is struggling, the entire unit is struggling. She also recognizes that parents are the experts of their child and believes their input and participation in therapy is instrumental to success.

I’m Deanna Dixon
Deanna comes to Compass Counseling with 10 years of experience in the Mental Health Field. Deanna started her career working under a Behavior Consultant, focusing on behavioral interventions and approaches to Autism. After completing her MS in 2019, Deanna worked in multiple settings including School Based Services and Outpatient. Deanna completed her undergrad in Psychology at Pennsylvania State University and her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Walden University. She currently has her NCC and her LPC through the state of Pennsylvania.
Deanna’s mission to the profession and those she serves is to not only provide support and tools individualized to specific client needs, but also to ensure that each individual is given dignity and comfort within sessions. Her theory to the counseling approach is specific to the client first having rapport and trust within her and the treatment process in order to ensure the best success possible. Deanna works with lifespan, typically starting at the age of 4 as well as she focuses on providing therapy to individuals with level one Autism. Her main mode of counseling includes but is not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, as well as focusing on solution-based problem solving skills and the use of coping skills.
Deanna looks forward to working with each individual and assisting them in meeting their own personal needs and defined goals as well as assisting in personal growth. No one should feel alone. She is here to ensure that those who walk across her doorstep know they have someone in their corner.
I’m Keely Seybold
Keely comes to Compass Counseling with a background in School Social Work and in counseling of children and their families in a community non-profit agency. She is a Licensed Social Worker and Behavioral Specialist in the state of Pennsylvania, and received her Masters in Social Work through Marywood University.
Her focus is in helping children and families function to their full potential through the use of therapeutic play techniques, including Theraplay, for which she is currently undergoing supervision. She has received training in multiple play therapy interventions and is a member of the Association for Play Therapy. With a focus on attachment, Keely guides families in creating and maintaining strong bonds through open communication and enjoying each other.
She also practices methods of Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Humanistic interventions. Keely practices a strength-based approach and believes that you have the ability within to be your best self and to overcome the struggles you may be experiencing.
I’m Leighanna Sult-Lehman
Leighanna comes to Compass Counseling with six years of experience as an Outpatient Therapist. She has worked in the behavioral / mental health field since 2001 with children, adolescents, and adults. She holds an Associate’s in Child Development, a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice, and a Master’s in Community Counseling. Leighanna is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is currently in the process of becoming certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and recently completed training to obtain certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
It is Leighanna’s philosophy that the mind, body, and spirit are all intertwined when it comes to mental health and she enjoys working with clients to help them navigate through life’s various experiences. During her trauma specific therapeutic work over the last several years, Leighanna has developed an intuitive, authentic, and trauma focused approach with clients. During treatment, she strives to assist clients by providing psycho-education and helping clients with identifying their strengths in order to guide them to their place of healing.
I’m Ursula Tracy
Ursula Tracy comes to Compass Counseling with 10+ years experience as a mental health therapist. Her expertise is in working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, gender identity and anger management issues. She uses a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalysis, and Family Therapy.
Ursula holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University, a Masters in School Counseling from the University of Scranton and an ABD in Educational Psychology from Capella University. Ursula is a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She is also currently employed at Scranton Counseling Center as a Family Home Based Worker.
I’m Nicole Tuzinski
Nicole Tuzinski is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who specializes in treating children, adolescents, and their families with varied mental health concerns. Licensed in the State of Pennsylvania and New York. Nicole has earned her master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New England College, and has extensive knowledge and experience working with diverse populations within the mental health field. Nicole provides individual psychotherapy for patients ages six and up, as well as family therapy.
Nicole specializes in Trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy which addresses the specific emotional and mental health needs of children, adolescents, and families who are struggling to overcome the destructive effect of early trauma. Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy is especially sensitive to the unique problems of youth with post-traumatic stress and mood disorders resulting from abuse, violence, or grief.
Nicole works with clients and their families on developing the child’s social and emotional skills so that they can build a solid platform to prompt healthy functioning in the home, school, and community. Nicole focuses on encouraging improvements in the most vital aspects of a child’s life, including increased academic achievement, decreased aggression, and fighting, as well as improve family communication. She utilizes techniques that integrate mindfulness, and cognitive therapy.
Nicole is in the process of receiving Theraplay training through The Theraplay institute which is an evidence-based treatment that supports healthy child/caregiver relationships. She is also receiving supervision in play therapy.
I’m Britney Gregory
Britney Gregory comes to Compass Counseling with 4 years in the mental health field, working as a Behavior Technician with children and adolescents with Autism, a Substance Abuse Counselor working with individuals with Opioid Use Disorder, and a Mental Health Counselor, working in college and community mental health settings. Britney’s expertise is in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, and severe trauma. She uses a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.
Britney received her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from King’s College and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. She is licensed as an Associate Professional Counselor and is a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors.
Britney feels that every client is the expert in their own lives and believes that therapy is a place to align their goals with their narrative to find peace and empowerment. Her desire is to give her clients the knowledge to identify their challenges in life and the tools and techniques to overcome those challenges. Britney uses an individualized approach to each of her sessions, listening to her clients and hearing their unique needs to identify the best approach. Britney also believes in establishing trust with her clients through compassion and empathy, helping them to feel comfortable in the session so that they can feel free to voice their opinions and openly discuss whatever brings them to therapy. She looks forward to empowering her clients to become the authors of their own life story and achieve their goals.
